About the Event
The VIII Annual Meeting of the Graduate Program in Immunology is an event of the Graduation Program in Immunology of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences - University of São Paulo. In 2019, the main focus of the meeting will be "Internationalization, Diffusion of Knowledge and Innovation: Challenges for Sciences in Brazil". We will reflect on Education and Science focused on the area of Immunology. We will discuss how the graduation programs could contribute not only to scientific and technological growth, but also to reduce polarization and promote the nucleation of new research groups in a country so unequal socially and economically. In addition, we will discuss how the science produced at the University will reach the population, either in the generation of products or in the diffusion of scientific knowledge.
